Agatha Oddly – Series Review (book by Lena jones) // Hopefully Spoiler-free

(Tiny spoiler alert)

In the afternoon, we have history (which I enjoy), computer programming (which Liam enjoys) and ballroom dancing (which nobody on earth enjoys).

Murder At The Museum (Agatha Oddly #2)

(Tiny spoiler over)

๐ŸŒˆHello Wonderful Readers!

I’ve finished this amazing series of Agatha Oddlow a few weeks ago, and it’s soOo good, I obviously had to write a review on it!

Basically, It’s about a girl named Agatha Oddlow (named after Agatha Christie) , who loves solving mysteries and each book has one big mystery which she solved. Apart of that, in the three books, she wants to find out if her mother actually dies in an accident, or there is something else behind it, and she does get an answer at the very end. She doesn’t have many friends, just two best friends, and lives with her dad, who is a Gardner.

Books Involved~

There are only 3 books in this series- The Secret Key, Murder at the Museum and The silver serpent and there are only about 200 pages in each book. I did expect more, after the third book, but it isn’t out..

  1. The Secret Key (Agatha Oddly #1) by Lena Jones
  2. Murder at the Museum (Agatha Oddly #2) by Lena Jones
  3. The Silver Serpent (Agatha Oddly #3) by Lena Jones

Isn’t it obvious?

Thirteenโ€yearโ€old Agatha Oddlow (or Oddly, as other people like to call her) is a bold, determined heroine, and the star of a stylish new detective series. With her Oddlow Agency detective company and her best friend Liam Lau at her side, sheโ€™s perfectly poised to solve the mystery of whatโ€™s going on. Agatha Oddlow .

OK, yes, I copied that. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

There are a good numbers of characters in the series altogether, not really that much though. Like any normal school books, there is a group of arrogant students (CC’s) and Agatha’s friend, Liam. Then her teachers, who don’t really like Agatha skipping school because of her cases. Her dad is a the main Gardner of a park, and JP, a homeless friend of Agatha lived there.

The writing style was pretty good in this book. It was mainly humorous or sad and sometime serious. The sentences were, well normal-sized? And the words would be simple to understand for you, probably.

Things I disliked about the series~

The only thing I didn’t like was that she had to wait so long to know all about her mum, which was a bit disappointing, but it was probably worth it.

So that was the review, it was a pretty good book series and I enjoyed reading it. Let me know if you read it!

PS: Offline school started a week ago, and it’s so fun going offline again! that’s also the reason I’ll be having onw post per week from now, and on Tuesday, I hope you understand, I hope I’ll be active like I was before soon, stay tuned!

I’m back: Where I had been and a sort-of life update + ๐ŸŒปSpring๐ŸŒป Mood boards!

A featured image after months…

๐ŸŒˆHello Wonderful readers!

As you may know, I was on an unannounced blogging hiatus, where I didn’t even read your blog posts. I even stopped reading books, and a lot more things because of my exams but now I’m finally back, and really happy! So I thought to have a little post to make you remember that I exist : )

The main reason of leaving blogging was exams and sadness. I haven’t had a proper post since 1st January, and now it’s April!

A lot has happened since I’ve stopped. Here are a few great things that happened!:

  • I finished the harry potter series and I’ve started Agatha Oddly! ๐Ÿ“–
  • I’m going to be in 7th grade in four days (this makes me so proud) and I’m going school offline! ๐Ÿซ
  • I’ve learnt a few songs on my piano and I am practising playing it with both hands๐ŸŽน
  • I came rank 1 on! and I’m not that addicted to it anymore ๐Ÿ˜†
  • I found out that I’m a Ravenclaw! ๐Ÿ’™
  • I got vaccinated! ๐Ÿ’‰

Books I read:

I’ve read a good number of books in February, and a bit in April. (I didn’t read at all in march, probably) I have finishd The Harry Potter series and the Agatha oddly series (They both are SO good!) I read The Blue Umbrella by Ruskin Bond in march, when I was reading nothing. It looked so cute!

Spring Mood Boards

It’s kind-of Spring right now, so I have made some mood boards like I did for winter They are of 4 different colors- green, yellow, pink and blue. Here they are!:

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is image-4.png

I really hope that you like them! (It took me two hours so appreciate my hard work๐Ÿ˜Œ) You can use them if you like, but please give credits! All the images are from pinterest or the internet, and none of these images used belong to me.

Comment below how you’ve been since I was gone. And how did your exams go, if you had any! I’ll be waiting for your replies! see you in the next post! stay safe and happy! ^-^

PS: Check out The Celebration #3 Post- I would be answering you assumptions soon so make sure you’ve added yours! This post also contains the badges of the read write contest, which I held a few months ago. So, if you’ve participated, you can find yours and use it anywhere you like!

PSS: I’m sorry for not replying your messages on Pinterest and your comments on WordPress, etc. As I said, I was inactive, and now I’ll reply to them soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello Wonderful Readers! ๐Ÿ€

This is the haiku Tag! Thank you Stara (@The Pool of Thoughts) I was also tagged by Eva @(The Album Of Amazing), aka the creator of this contest! Thank you for tagging me! I’m preparing for a lot of long posts coming up soon, so till then, I’ll be doing these cool awards and tags!

The haiku is a Japanese poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. The haiku developed from the hokku, the opening three lines of a longer poem known as a tanka. The haiku became a separate form of poetry in the 17th century.

I’d written the same definition in this post, if it feels like you’ve read this before XD

The Haiku’s-

The topics I’ve chosen are nature and music, here are the haiku’s-

Flowers, lands, rivers and all
The precious gift given by god
Nature, is what it's called

In the dictionary of words
All we need is this 5-lettered word

To change our depressing world

I’m not that good at haiku’s, but this is all I could think *๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ* How are they?

January Warp Up! // It’s 2020 too!

Hullo Wonderful People! ๐Ÿช„

This is the first wrap up post of 2022! And January was not as expected… it was weird, kind-of… anyway, here’s the wrap up!

Guess what!! I never made a goal! ๐Ÿ™‚ I did try out my resolutions, and each of them are slowly breaking.. but it’s fine enough.

I have read a good amount of book this month! I must read atleast 70 books till year end, it’s a resolution which is going on quite well!

I haven’t been listening many songs, when are you even supposed to listen to songs? I have made some Spotify Playlist but I don’t know why. And movies, well, I watched some hindi movies and I was just about to watched about half of the parent trap. But I haven’t finished it yet, so… ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

*checks stats and stuff*

Nope, the blog things were not quite good, I missed 2 posts, or maybe more but I’ll post more regularly now, and not just poems-

This month was weird. I felt weird, I felt lonely, I felt a lot different, and I don’t know why, I started writing in a diary again, not really, but I think what I’ll write in it while going to sleep, and my head starts paining after thinking of so many things at once ๐Ÿ™„

But overall, January seemed good! And everything improved…..except blogging and music!

February, I don’t think I need to say anything. Cause it’s impossible for you to even read what I’m writing! Look, I’m being so logical, aren’t I ๐Ÿ˜‡

  • 1 post with 50+ comments
  • Interesting posts
  • Less poems, readers get bored
  • Host a contest or tag or award
  • Have โœจUnIqUe โœจ posts
  • Do something related to art
  • Play chess with Sep

I need your help to achieve my goals!

And that was the first wrap up, of the first month of the not-at-all first year! Thank you for reading! Comment below what’s C + ๐Ÿ”’!

Another new sign-off!

8 Things I do when I’m sad

Hello wonderful people! ๐Ÿ’•

I know I was supposed to post on Tuesday, and I even had a post scheduled. And even seven people saw it. But it wasn’t finished.๐Ÿ˜‚

so I decided to stop this schedule for sometime, and now I’ll be having 1 post per week, that’s not really bad, is it!

So back to the post, here, I’ll show you somethings I do when I’m sad or depressed! It’s kind-of all I could think of… Anyway,

#1| Have some alone time

It’s really really good to have some alone time, especially if you’re sad or depressed. You can cry, hit the pillow, or do anything without caring what others think. It makes you think about the reason you’re sad, and might cheer you up a bit!

#2| Write a poem

Have you ever thought why most of the amazing poems are sad, and filled with pain or anger? Its because (I think) these are written in hard times, or maybe while remembering them. After writing a poem, when I re-read it, I feel like, overreacting!๐Ÿ˜‚ and I see what others think when they see me in that state. But I’m the only one who know the real thing behind it, and it surely makes me happy!

#3| Study and/or listen to music

I don’t listen to music usually, but listening to sad music, makes you happy! And if you stady, it’d kind off good? There you go! A great combination- Music + Study!

#4| Write in the diary, or think about it

Writing is simply like poetry, I guess. And writing in a diary can make you feel as better as writing poems. If you’re not good at writing poems, then just write a diary!

I don’t write in diaries, as it takes a lot of time. So, I just think about what I’ll write in my diary, say it to my mind, it equally makes me feel better! And it’s something you can do if you’re a lazy person too!

#5| Lie in the bed, and think of a n y t h i n g

You see, thinking and spending some time with yourself cheers you up! When I’m sad (and I want people to see it mwahahahahha) I just lie in the bed, and stare the ceiling fan, and think. About anything, you know, you get those thoughts which don’t let you sleep at night, the same thoughts come here! And who knows, you miGHt fall asleep ๐Ÿง

#6 Design blog graphics, or a new logo for your blog(if you’re a blogger)!

This is really fun! I use canva for all the designing stuff and I’m always busy designing my blog graphics, and then making newer and “better” ones๐Ÿค  I’m even working on a logo for my blog but I fail everytime at the end, but it’s f u n!

#7 Draw aka scribble!

Scribbling is fun too! I’ve been practicing making realistic eyes, and shading, and 3d drawing and mostly I used to do all these when I’m sad!

#8 Talk with your anyone!

I think, talking would help you a lot, if not any friend or family member, you can talk to the one-who-made-you-sad! I don’t talk to someone when I am sad, but if you are, you can definitely try!

I had a lot of thing to write here 2 days ago, but right now I’m happy enough, so I can’t really think of something. So that’s it!

What do you do when you’re sad? And what’s ๐Ÿ•ท+๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿป? Comment below!

Stay safe and happy, and bye!

PS: I don’t know if I mentioned it or not already, but I might not have two post each week, and mostly poems, because I have a lot of work and I *feel* I should study more than I do ๐Ÿ˜‚ I’ll not have any post this Saturday cause it’s tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚ and don’t you think I can write a readable post in 1 day ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello Wonderful People!๐Ÿฆ‹

It’s seems like it’s been forever since I’ve done an award/tag post. I’ve even started to stop writing them down in the list.

3. Great book reviews

It’s been a long time since I’ve read any book review, but the one who’s really regular with book reviews is Hermoine @ Portable Magic– Every review by her is amazing!

Sep @ Bookishly Yours has also started writing book reviews in her book blog instead of poems nowadays! Even though they all (not even “most” “ALL” of them) are 14+ so she’ll never let me read them, but still they are amazing- specially the images she designs for them.

It feels like December-

The mask, is still worn
And continues the new normal
The covid free expectations are torn
And we continue talking formal

“New year, New month, New day” we say
“Make your goals”, even if they don’t work?

What is new?
Except of the calendar?
Have we returned back to normal?
No. We’re busy planting lavender.

Has our excitement for new year ended?
Yes, but another begins
We are still in the same grade!
And is covid over now? Everyone will just guess.

Christmas is not here
But santa Claus must be, hiding
Seeing us, if we’re good or not
Talking to the elves, who handle gift wrapping

If it’s a new year, it’s still the same season
If it’s a new dawn, darkness may come too
If we’re supposed to be positive, what about the virus?
If it’s a new day, night comes too right?

They say it’s a new year
They say it’s a new month
I know it’s January
But it still feels like December
